THE ABC'S OF HOW 'NOT' to WRITE SPECULATIVE FICTION: THE LETTER 'H'

JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW, I DIDN'T MISS THE LETTER 'H' accidentally. It may have looked as if I jumped from 'G' is for Grammar to 'I' is for Italics. Since I restarted up Suzenyms last April, I've hosted some excellent guests on my blog. Three of them covered a few 'H' topics for me, much better than I could have done. They also focused more on the 'how to', rather than the 'how not to' of these particular subjects.

To read Barb Galler-Smith's great advice on what to keep in mind when writing Historical Fantasy, check out her guest post at: http://suzenyms.blogspot.ca/2014/03/writing-historical-fantasy-guest-post.html

Derek Newman-Stille offers a very provocative look at writing Horror. Derek's post is also one of the most visited on Suzenyms. http://suzenyms.blogspot.ca/2013/10/teaching-little-monsters-guest-post-by.html

And finally, Hugh A.D. Spencer, one of the funniest guys I know, tells us what it takes to write the really funny stuff, speculative or otherwise. http://suzenyms.blogspot.ca/2013/11/on-nature-of-humor-and-speculative.html

If you haven't read these, check them out!

- Susan.
